Laser Safety Operation Guidelines for SFX Laser Rust Removal Machine

When using advanced equipment such as the SFX Laser Rust Removal Machine, proper safety operation is essential. Not only does it protect operators and equipment, but it also ensures stable and efficient performance. Below are key laser safety operation guidelines you should follow.

1. Wear Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Always use laser safety goggles that match the specific wavelength of the Laser Cleaning Machine. We provide one OD7+ laser safety glasses free with each machine. If additional protective eyewear is needed, you can purchase more from us.

2. Safety Requirements for the Operating Environment

Ventilation: Ensure good airflow in the working area to remove fumes and gases. A smoke purifier can be purchased with the machine for added safety.

Workspace Management: Keep the area clean and free from clutter, reflective surfaces, and flammable materials.

Restricted Zone: Set up protective barriers and warning signs to prevent unauthorized personnel from entering. The laser beam is safe as long as it is not directly stared at.

3. Installation and Use Instructions

Place the equipment on a stable surface to avoid tipping or falling.

Keep at least 60 cm of space around the equipment for proper ventilation and heat dissipation.

Use air blowing during operation to prevent dust damage to the lens.

Clean the protective lens before each use. Use a lint-free swab with isopropyl alcohol, wiping gently from the center outward. Avoid scratches.

Handle the handheld cleaning head carefully. Store it facing downward or flat to prevent damage.

4. Operation Precautions

Check the technical parameter table for the correct operating voltage. Use a transformer if needed.

In cold environments, prevent the cooling medium from freezing. Use special laser antifreeze when the temperature is below 2°C.

Protect the Laser Rust Removal Machine from rain or water when used outdoors.

If the water chiller temperature is below 22°C, a low-temperature alarm may occur. Preheat until the temperature reaches 22°C, then restart.

The laser has built-in safety protection. If cleaning stops for over 2 minutes, tap "Laser" on the touch screen again to reactivate it.

5. Additional Safety Considerations

Always place visible laser warning signs in the working area.

Regularly check your system, lens, and cooling system to ensure stable operation.

Why Safety Operation Matters?

Following these laser safety operation guidelines minimizes risks, extends the service life of your SFX Laser Cleaning Machine, and guarantees safe and efficient rust removal.
