In the realm of laser cleaning technology, there are distinct differences between pulse and continuous laser cleaning machines in terms of operation, suitable applications, and cleaning efficiency:

Pulse Laser Cleaning Machine:

- Wavelength: 1064nm.

- Energy output is in the form of pulses, with high energy per pulse, ideal for removing stubborn contaminants or coatings such as paint, oil, and oxidation layers. Especially effective for cleaning aluminum oxide and titanium alloy oxide layers, as well as removing substances from highly reflective surfaces.

- Offers diverse cleaning modes such as straight line, circular, and rectangular shapes, delivering excellent results for cleaning metal dirt, oxidation layers, degreasing automotive engine blocks, and removing post-welding black marks.

- Not recommended for materials like graphite.

Continuous Laser Cleaning Machine:

- Wavelength: 1080nm.

- Emits a continuous laser beam that can be adjusted to reduce heat impact on thinner materials, making it suitable for delicate materials sensitive to heat effects.

- Capable of removing paint, oxidation layers, thin cement layers, EVA, limescale, Teflon, and other materials from metal surfaces, but may not be suitable for very fine or difficult-to-remove contaminants.

- Maximum cleaning width of up to 170mm, modulation frequency of 20KHz, and scanning speed of up to 25000mm/s, making it ideal for large-area continuous operations. However, in some cases, it may lead to a larger heat-affected area, such as when cleaning graffiti on walls, which can result in charring.

- Not suitable for cleaning rubber, cables, or flammable materials, and should not be used to clean flammable residues like paint on oil drum interiors or oil pipes inside car engines.

In conclusion, pulse cleaning machines are better suited for handling hard-to-remove contaminants or applications requiring precise control over heat impacts. On the other hand, continuous cleaning machines are more suitable for large-area, continuous cleaning tasks with relatively low heat impact requirements.
